Canex Resources is hiring 20 casual crop farm labourers for Devonport and surrounding regions in Tasmania. Work runs from December 2026 to December 2027.

What you will do:

• Manually harvest vegetables by hand or using hand tools
• Sort, clean and pack produce in the field to quality standards
• Load harvested produce into bins or trailers
• Plant, weed, thin and maintain fields
• Keep the field and equipment clean
• Follow food safety and farm hygiene practices

What we need:

• Good physical fitness – you will be on your feet most of the shift
• Ready to work long shifts of 10 hours a day
• Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude
• Able to work alone or as part of a team
• Right to work in Australia

Pay and hours:

Average 30 hours per week. Pay ranges from $32.18 to $33.05+ per hour under the Horticulture Award 2020. Working hours vary from 6am to 6pm, 7 days per week. Overtime rates apply where applicable. You may earn extra allowances if trained in additional tasks.
