Facility Supervisor, Wemen VIC

Lamattina Holdings is a major fresh produce business in the Sunraysia region. They are looking for a full-time Facility Supervisor to manage their packing shed in Wemen, Victoria.

Your role:

• Manage the shed floor daily and lead a team of staff
• Check that cool rooms are working properly
• Make sure all produce is packed to the right standard and quality
• Work with the post-harvest operations manager on daily and weekly goals
• Help supervise staff doing quality control and monitoring
• Work with grower services teams to make sure fresh produce gets to the packing shed smoothly
• Help arrange temporary workers, supplies and freight
• Use the traceability systems to run the shed cost-effectively and suggest improvements
• Make sure all staff follow health and safety rules and quality standards
• Help complete quality system paperwork

What you need:

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• AQF Certificate II in horticulture, agriculture or a related field (preferred)
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to supervise and manage a team

The salary is $79,423 per annum plus superannuation.
