Technical Sales Representative, Pooraka SA

Zerella Fresh grows and packs carrots, onions and potatoes for Australia’s supermarkets and export markets. We are looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join our team at our Pooraka site in South Australia on a permanent full-time basis.

You will promote and sell our fresh produce to wholesale, retail, foodservice and export customers. Your duties include:

• Selling carrots, potatoes and onions to new and existing customers
• Building technical knowledge of product specifications, quality standards and seasonal supply
• Developing and managing customer accounts across different sales channels
• Achieving agreed sales targets for volume, revenue and margins
• Providing technical advice on product grades, packaging, shelf life and handling
• Negotiating quotes and supply agreements
• Working with our packing, harvest and logistics teams to match sales with crop volumes
• Monitoring market trends and competitor activity
• Travelling to customer sites and industry events as needed
• Preparing sales forecasts and reports

You will need a diploma or degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or Agribusiness plus at least one year of relevant experience, or at least three years of sales experience. Experience in technical sales or account management in fresh produce, agriculture or FMCG is ideal. You must have an unrestricted Class C Drivers Licence and be willing to travel regularly. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

This role requires weekend and night work in line with production demands.
