Zerella Fresh grows and packs carrots, onions and potatoes for Australia’s supermarkets and exports. We are hiring a Wholesaler (Horticulture) for our Pooraka site in South Australia.

You will work full-time on a permanent basis, reporting to the Sales Manager. Your role is to develop and grow sales of our fresh produce to wholesale, retail, foodservice and export customers. You will manage customer accounts, negotiate pricing and supply agreements, and provide technical advice on product specifications and quality.

You will also work with our packing, harvest and logistics teams to align sales with available crop volumes, monitor market trends and competitor activity, and maintain accurate records in our CRM system. Travel to customer sites and industry events may be required.

You need:

• A diploma or degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Agribusiness or related field, plus at least 1 year relevant experience, OR at least 3 years sales experience
• Experience in technical sales or wholesale, ideally in fresh produce, agriculture or FMCG
• Knowledge of fresh produce grading and seasonal supply (desirable)
• Unrestricted Class C Drivers Licence and willingness to travel
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM or sales management systems
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building and problem-solving skills
