Flowers in Season is hiring 20 full-time flower farm workers in Galston, NSW. This is a permanent position starting around 1 January 2027, with a 3-year employment period.
The work
- Planting and caring for flowers and crops
- Preparing soil and planting beds
- Weeding and maintaining growing areas
- Watering and general crop maintenance
- Picking and harvesting flowers
- Sorting, bunching and packing flowers for sale
- Maintaining clean work areas
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
Hours and pay
38 hours per week, 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday. Hours may change during peak times and there may be some weekend work. Overtime is paid according to award wage rates. Pay is Level 1 Award Wage Farm Hand.
What we are looking for
You should be reliable, punctual, physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather. Previous agricultural or horticultural experience is desirable but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided.
