Apiary manager, Temora NSW

Stahmann Farms Enterprises is looking for an experienced apiary manager to work with Australian Rainforest Honey, their beekeeping operation. You will manage the apiary and oversee the breeding, raising and maintaining of bees.

Your duties will include:

• Breeding and raising bees for honey production and crop pollination
• Monitoring and maintaining bee health and condition
• Managing pests and diseases
• Managing the flowering lifecycle to ensure good honey-bearing plants are used
• Managing pollination needs for horticultural crops
• Managing pesticide risks
• Managing nutrition and maximising colony populations

You will need at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role and proven skills in breeding, raising and maintaining bees. You must be able to work well in a team.
