Lerch Farms is hiring ten farm labourers for full-time permanent work at Laidley Heights in the Lockyer Valley.

What you will do:

• Plant, cultivate and maintain horticultural crops
• Harvest vegetables and other produce
• Sort, grade and pack harvested produce
• Weed and maintain crops
• Prepare growing areas and help with irrigation
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools and equipment
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures

What we need:

• Ability to do physically demanding work for long periods
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
• Reliable, punctual and a good team worker
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Legal right to work in Australia
• Previous farm experience is not essential

The work may include early starts, weekend work and extra hours depending on crop needs and seasons. Pay and conditions follow the Horticulture Award 2020. Training will be provided.
