Japoonvale Golden Bananas is looking for three horticultural labourers to work on a commercial banana farm at 58 Warrakin Road, Japoonvale.
The work
- Picking bananas, desuckering, deleafing, bell injecting, dehanding and packing bananas
- Work starts approximately 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday
- Days and hours may vary depending on weather and operational needs
- Physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions
What you need
- Motivated and willing to learn
- Physically fit for manual labour
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Able to work as part of a team
- Willing to use farm equipment and tools
- No previous experience required – training will be provided
The offer
- Contract position starting September 2026 for 9 months
- Level 1 casual employment under the Horticulture Award 2026
- $32.18 per hour with 30 hours per week guaranteed
