Australia Backpacker Central is hiring 60 horticulture workers for the Swan Hill and Wood Wood region in Victoria. Work starts in September 2026 and continues for up to 9 months.
What you will do:
- Pick and pack stone fruit and citrus
- Prune stone fruit and citrus trees
- Thin fruit from trees
- Irrigation tasks
- Weeding and general farm maintenance
What we need:
- No previous experience needed
- Motivated and able to learn quickly
- Ready for early starts and outdoor work in all weather
- Able to work in a team and independently
- Willing to relocate to the area
Hours and pay:
Work is 7am to 4pm, 5 to 6 days per week. You will be paid under the Horticulture Award 2020 at an hourly rate plus piece rate depending on the task. On-the-job training is provided.
