Senior Dairy Cattle Stockperson for a dairy farm in Cranbourne, VIC. This is a full-time permanent role.

What you will do:

• Manage and coordinate milking shed routines and milk production
• Coordinate reproductive programs including artificial insemination and herd fertility management
• Implement calving procedures and conduct internal assessments
• Plan and manage pastures and crops for livestock, and develop feeding plans
• Supervise animal health programs and maintain livestock welfare standards
• Supervise less experienced staff such as assistant farmhands
• Operate milking plant, dairy equipment and farm vehicles safely
• Handle chemicals, maintain records and ensure food safety compliance
• Participate in training and respond to emergencies

What you need:

• AQF Certificate III in Agriculture or Dairy Production (or higher)
• Three years of recent and relevant work experience
• Computer literacy

Salary from $71,481 per year plus superannuation.
