Global Skilled Employment Services is recruiting a Dairy Cattle Farm Operator for a client farm in Cranbourne, VIC.

The role:

• Operate milking plant and equipment
• Identify and report equipment problems
• Attend to livestock, haymaking and fencing
• Read and record milk vat temperatures and cow numbers
• Maintain and adjust farm machinery
• Solve problems and make decisions within guidelines
• Assist with machine repair, artificial insemination and fertiliser work
• Operate computerised systems
• Work as part of a team, sometimes without supervision

What you need:

• AQF Certificate II or III in Agriculture (or equivalent)
• At least one year of recent and relevant work experience

The job:

Full-time, permanent position. May include weekend and public holiday work, plus unplanned hours when needed (paid accordingly).
