Senior piggery stockperson, Munyabla NSW

Global Skilled Employment Services is recruiting a Senior Piggery Stockperson for a permanent full-time role at a commercial piggery with multiple farm sites in Munyabla, NSW.

What you will do:

• Supervise the piggery site, facilities, staff and resources
• Maintain quality assurance and keep all documentation current
• Supervise data collection and stock inventory control
• Inspect livestock daily, ensuring they are fed, watered and healthy
• Supervise a less experienced stockperson
• Assess and treat sick or injured animals humanely
• Conduct post mortem examinations when needed
• Supervise mating and birthing processes
• Participate in training and workshops

What you need:

• AQF Certificate III or higher in Agriculture (Pig Production)
• At least 3 years recent experience in a medium to large commercial piggery
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Advanced knowledge of animal husbandry, welfare and pig production
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Computer skills are an advantage

Salary from $71,481 per year plus superannuation.
