Valley Park Farm is a free-range egg producer in the Goulburn Valley and Strathbogie Ranges, Victoria. We are looking for a Poultry Farm Manager to lead our team and manage day-to-day farm operations.

About the role:

• Manage the welfare and health of our free-range hens
• Organise and conduct farming operations, including shed maintenance, water systems and equipment
• Prepare sheds for new batches of chickens
• Order feed and manage livestock movement
• Control pests, diseases, weeds and environmental toxins
• Supervise and train staff
• Monitor stock control, cleanliness and maintenance
• Prepare daily and weekly reports
• Manage business capital and plan production to meet market demand

What we need:

• Recent and extensive poultry experience
• Livestock management skills
• Mechanical skills
• Strong people management and leadership ability
• Ability to work independently and manage your time

Salary is $100,000 per annum including accommodation and utility, plus superannuation.
