A prominent horticultural business on the Mornington Peninsula is seeking an experienced Nursery Supervisor to lead their plant production and nursery operations. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring comprehensive knowledge of plant propagation, nursery management, and team supervision.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervise and lead all nursery workstations and farm activities
• Manage plant propagation techniques including budding and grafting
• Prepare potting media and manage propagation materials
• Implement irrigation regimes and pest management programs
• Monitor crop health and maintain growing conditions
• Grade and package finished plants to quality standards
• Maintain production records and inventory
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and biosecurity protocols

You will need:

• Formal trade qualification in Horticulture, Nursery Production, or equivalent
• Proven post-trade experience in a commercial nursery with supervisory responsibilities
• Comprehensive knowledge of plant propagation techniques and nursery management

This is a permanent full-time position with immediate start. Salary $79,500 – $86,600.
