Phytech Australia is an agricultural technology company helping growers use data to improve irrigation, crop health and productivity.

We are looking for an Agricultural Consultant to work with growers across Mildura and the Sunraysia region. You will advise on irrigation management, plant health and production strategies using plant, soil and irrigation data. You will also help growers adopt and use Phytech’s monitoring technology.

Your work will include:

• Advising growers on irrigation, plant health and production based on data
• Analysing plant, soil and irrigation data to support farm decisions
• Training growers to use monitoring systems
• Building relationships with growers, farm managers and agronomists
• Travelling to farms to assess conditions and provide advice
• Identifying opportunities to expand services to new and existing clients

You will need:

• Bachelor degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Science or related field
• At least 1 year full-time experience in agricultural consulting, agronomy or irrigation management
• Knowledge of irrigation, plant physiology and horticultural production
• Ability to analyse and interpret agricultural data
• Valid Australian driver’s licence
• Willingness to travel throughout Sunraysia and other growing regions

• Salary AUD 80,000 – AUD 90,000 per annum plus superannuation and annual performance bonus
