About this job
Apple orchard in Drouin and surrounding area needs up to 5 farm workers to harvest, pack, and sort apples and related crops.
When: Early November 2026 to approximately 1-2 years on contract. You must be available for a minimum of 5-6 days per week, 8-10 hours per day. Some weekend work may be offered. Early start times vary depending on crop availability. Work is weather dependent and may be intermittent.
The work: Harvesting, cleaning, trimming, and sorting apples. Pruning trees outdoors. Regular lifting, constant standing, walking, and bending. Outdoor work in varying weather from hot and dry to cold, wet, and muddy.
What we need: Reliable and flexible workers who are physically fit. Good communication skills. Ability to work well in teams with people from various cultural backgrounds. You must be able to travel to or live in the Drouin area.
Pay: Australian Horticultural Award 2020 full-time rate.
