What you will do:

• Manage and coordinate milking shed routines and milk production
• Coordinate reproductive programs including artificial insemination and herd fertility management
• Implement calving procedures and conduct internal assessments
• Plan and manage pastures and crops for livestock production
• Supervise animal health programs and maintain livestock welfare standards
• Supervise less experienced staff such as assistant farmhands
• Operate milking plant and equipment safely
• Operate dairy recycling systems and farm vehicles
• Handle and store chemicals safely
• Maintain records for stock and inventory control
• Ensure food safety and occupational health and safety requirements are met
• Participate in training sessions and workshops

What you need:

• AQF Certificate III in Agriculture or Dairy Production (or higher equivalent)
• Three years of recent and relevant work experience
• Computer literacy

Salary from $71,481 per year plus superannuation.
