Pig farmer, Lol Gray WA

Hillcroft Farms is looking for an experienced Pig Farmer to work in Lol Gray, Western Australia. This is permanent, full-time work.

What you will do:

• Daily feeding, watering, and monitoring of pigs
• Monitor pig health, give vaccinations and medication
• Help with breeding programs, including artificial insemination and farrowing supervision
• Clean and maintain pig pens, sheds, and equipment
• Keep records of animal weight, health, and reproduction
• Report signs of illness or distress
• Follow animal welfare, environmental, and biosecurity rules
• Operate and maintain farm machinery
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards

What you need:

• At least 2 years full-time experience in commercial pig farming or livestock management
• Knowledge of pig handling, breeding, and husbandry
• Physical fitness to work outdoors in all conditions
• Good attention to detail and record-keeping skills
• Ability to work independently and in a small team
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Current driver’s licence

Certificate III or higher in Agriculture or Animal Husbandry is preferred but not essential.

The salary is $70,000 to $90,000 AUD. You will work in a supportive team with modern facilities.
