Arkle Angus Stud is a premier Angus cattle operation in Western Australia. They run a 250-head stud cow herd across 850 acres, producing approximately 90 bulls and 80 heifers for sale each year.
The role
You will be a senior beef farm worker responsible for day-to-day cattle and farm operations. You will work closely with the Stud Principal and CEO, overseeing the complete stud enterprise. This includes genetics and herd management, farm production, and supervising stockpersons. You will also communicate with external contractors and service providers to ensure the property operates efficiently and profitably.
The operation uses a progressive genetics strategy combining embryo transfer, artificial insemination and natural service bulls, with a strong focus on data-driven selection and performance recording through Angus Australia.
