Banana workers, Mareeba FNQ

CTR Banana Group is hiring 80 workers for banana farm work in Mareeba, Far North Queensland.
The work includes:
- Cutting, bagging and stringing bananas
- Weed spraying and misting
- Dehanding and sorting
- Packing
Work is usually 6.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday. You may also be asked to work weekends and public holidays.
Employment options:
- Casual: minimum 30 hours per week
- Permanent: minimum 38 hours per week
Both are under the Horticultural award. Work is expected to start in November 2026 and last 9 months to 4 years.
No experience needed. Training will be provided. You will work outdoors or under cover in a team, using tools like pruning and picking equipment. The work is physical and you may work in different weather conditions.
