Kinagin Farm is looking for six casual farm hands to work on their avocado and macadamia orchard near Bundaberg.
The work
- General orchard work on avocado and macadamia trees
- Planting and caring for young trees
- Harvesting and collecting produce
- Pruning and basic tree maintenance
- Weed control and general farm maintenance
- Cleaning work areas and equipment
What we need
You should be reliable, punctual, and willing to work outdoors in all weather. The work is physically active and repetitive. You need to follow instructions and safety procedures, and work well as part of a team. No previous farm experience is needed. Training and supervision will be provided.
The details
Approximately 38 hours per week, between 6am and 6pm Monday to Saturday. Pay is from $32.18 per hour plus superannuation, in line with the Horticulture Award 2020. The role is casual with a 12-month duration and possibility of extension. Start date is ASAP.
