Production Horticulturist, Coffs Harbour NSW

R Vashist & V Vishawjeet are looking for an experienced Production Horticulturist to work full-time on their horticulture farm in Coffs Harbour.

What you will do:

• Plan and supervise crop production activities
• Monitor crop growth and plant health
• Identify and report plant diseases and pests
• Manage irrigation systems
• Coordinate fertiliser, herbicide and pesticide applications
• Monitor soil conditions
• Keep records of crop production and farm operations
• Maintain machinery and farm infrastructure safely
• Work with farm management to improve production and quality

What you need:

• AQF Certificate IV, Diploma or higher in Horticulture, Production Horticulture, Agriculture, Agronomy or related field, plus at least one year of relevant experience after qualification. Or at least three years of full-time industry experience without formal qualifications.
• Knowledge of horticultural production techniques, crop management, irrigation systems and pest control

The job:

• Full-time, 38 hours per week
• $75,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation
