CORESTAFF is hiring 15 foliage harvesters and horticultural labourers for the Sunshine Coast region. This is a 9-month casual position starting January 2027.

The work

• Harvesting and cutting foliage
• Selecting, handling and transporting harvested foliage
• Sorting, grading and processing foliage
• Bunching, packing and preparing products for dispatch
• Plant and crop maintenance, weeding and general duties
• Cleaning and maintaining work areas
• Using basic hand tools and equipment safely

What you need

• Reliable and punctual
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Willing to work outdoors in varying weather
• Able to do repetitive and physical tasks safely
• Available for the full 9-month period
• Previous horticultural or harvesting experience is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided.

Hours and pay

Minimum 30 hours per week at $32.18 per hour plus superannuation. Early morning starts and weekend work may be required. Additional hours may be available depending on operational needs.

Conditions

Employment is under the Horticulture Award 2020. You may need to complete a pre-employment medical assessment and drug and alcohol screening. Workplace induction and safety training will be provided.
