Vegetable farm workers, Cowra NSW

CORESTAFF is hiring 10 vegetable farm workers for a 9-month casual assignment in the Cowra region, starting February 2027.

The work

• Planting and maintaining vegetable crops
• Picking and harvesting vegetables
• Sorting, grading and packing produce
• Crop maintenance and general farm duties
• Manual handling of produce and farming materials

Hours and pay

Minimum 30 hours per week. Roster includes weekdays and weekends depending on seasonal requirements. Early morning starts may be required. Additional hours available during peak periods.

Casual hourly rate from $32.18 per hour (including casual loading), governed by the Horticulture Award 2020. Overtime and penalty rates apply where applicable. Superannuation contributions included.

What you need

• Legal right to work in Australia
• Physically capable of repetitive manual handling and outdoor work
• Reliable and available for rostered shifts
• Willing to work early starts and weekends
• Committed to the full 9-month assignment
• Previous horticulture or agricultural experience is desirable but not essential

What to expect

Work outdoors in varying weather. Site induction and training provided. Pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening may be required.
