Australian Grain Export is looking for a Supply and Distribution Manager to join their team in Dublin, South Australia.
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing the end-to-end supply chain, storage, handling and distribution of grain for domestic and international customers.
Your main tasks will include:
- Plan and oversee the supply, storage and distribution of grain
- Coordinate grain movements from growers and suppliers to storage facilities and export terminals
- Forecast grain requirements and maintain appropriate stock levels
- Oversee grain receival, weighing, sampling, grading, segregation, storage and dispatch
- Monitor grain quality and ensure compliance with hygiene, contamination-control, biosecurity and export requirements
- Negotiate and manage arrangements with grain suppliers, transport operators, warehouses and freight forwarders
- Coordinate road and rail transport, container availability and loading schedules
- Maintain accurate records of grain purchases, inventory, movement and distribution costs
- Prepare and verify invoices, packing lists and export documentation
- Supervise logistics and grain-handling staff
You will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Agriculture, Agribusiness or related discipline
- Formal education in grain handling, agricultural commodities or agribusiness
This is a full-time permanent position with at least 38 hours per week. Salary is $80,000 – $120,000 per year.
