About this job

We are looking for 6 hardworking workers to harvest fruit, vegetables and flowers in Southeast Victoria. Work runs from mid to late November to mid to late August the following year, around 9 months total.

What you will do:

  • Harvest produce including asparagus, fruit and vegetables
  • Pruning and cutting work
  • Harvesting flowers
  • Packing shed work, sorting and grading produce
  • Weeding and other farm duties as needed

Work details:

  • 5 days per week, Monday to Friday
  • 8 to 10 hours per day
  • Pay: Horticultural Award or piece rate
  • Work is outdoors in all weather conditions, rain, wind, heat and mud
  • Starting times vary depending on temperature and weather
  • Travel between properties required
  • Work frequency varies with weather and crop conditions

What we need:

  • Physical fitness and good health
  • Experience in harvesting vegetables, fruit or flowers is helpful
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately
  • Flexibility with hours and days
  • Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
  • Willingness to obtain a Police Check
