Jobs Australia Enterprises is hiring 50 horticultural workers for properties around Innisfail. The work runs from January 2027 for up to nine months.

The work

• Picking, packing and general crop management of bananas and various other fruits or vegetables
• Mainly outdoors in various weather conditions
• 5-7 days per week, with hours varying daily. Minimum 30 hours per week on average
• You may be on your feet for extended periods and do repetitive manual tasks

What you need

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Available to stay for the full 6-9 months
• Physically fit and able to handle demanding physical work
• Reliable transport
• Flexible hours, as rosters will vary
• Eligible to work in Australia

Pay and training

Wages are paid under the Horticultural Award 2020 at the Level 1 Casual hourly rate of $32.18 per hour. Job-specific training and upskilling opportunities are offered.
