MnB Zecchinati & Co. is hiring 15 full-time workers for their banana farm in East Palmerston, Queensland. The role starts in September 2026.
What you will do:
- De-suckering, bell injecting, bagging and humping
- Stringing, de-handing and de-leafing
- Irrigation maintenance
Pay and hours:
You will earn $25.71 per hour under the Horticulture Award 2020. Minimum 38 hours per week. If you progress well in your duties, you may get a pay increase.
What we are looking for:
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Ability to stay for 12 months to 4 years
- Physical fitness – this work involves standing for long periods and repetitive manual tasks
- Good teamwork skills
