Poultry farm worker, Pittsworth QLD
About this job
Full-time poultry farm work in Pittsworth. You will work 38 hours per week on day and afternoon shifts, with rotating weekends and public holidays. Overtime may be required.
Starting rate is $25.74 per hour plus superannuation. You can progress through 8 pay levels up to $31.64 per hour.
What you need:
- Valid driver’s licence
- Willingness to follow animal welfare and biosecurity rules
- Ability to do strenuous physical work
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills valued
- Previous poultry experience not essential but valued
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
Important: You must not have birds, pigs or poultry at home, and must not regularly come into contact with them.
