Whyalla Beef, part of NH Foods Group, is hiring experienced dairy farmers for their Smithlea operation. Several full-time permanent positions are available.

Your role:

• Breed and raise cattle for milk and dairy product production
• Monitor and maintain the health and condition of livestock
• Manage pastures and feeding opportunities
• Conduct farming operations including milking, drenching, and collecting produce
• Maintain farm facilities and manage pests and weeds
• Keep records of farming activities and monitor market activity
• Help organise the sale, purchase and transport of livestock and produce
• Select, train and supervise staff and contractors

What you need:

• Minimum 3 years hands-on dairy farming experience
• Cert III in a relevant field
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Customer focused with a can-do attitude
