Cuballing Pork is looking for an experienced Pig Farmer to manage breeding and raising pigs for meat production at their farm near Wardering.

What you will do:

• Breed and raise pigs using artificial insemination and natural mating
• Feed pigs and ensure proper hydration and care
• Monitor animal health, give medication, and assist during births
• Maintain farm facilities, fences, equipment, water systems, ventilation and temperature
• Manage waste and transport livestock
• Keep records of mating and dry sow management
• Coordinate buying, selling, and transporting livestock

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
• Minimum 5 years experience in pig farming
• Proven experience with welfare standards and quality assurance
• Ability to manage the farrowing house independently
• Current driver’s licence
• Willingness to work weekends

This is a permanent position paying AUD $75,000 – $80,000 per annum. Apply via the Workforce Australia website.
