Calimna Orchard is hiring 50 casual horticulture workers for their apple and pear orchard in Ardmona, Victoria. The work runs for approximately 9 months, starting mid-November 2026.
What you will do:
- Pick and pack apples and pears
- Plant, thin and prune trees
- General labour as needed
- Follow workplace health and safety guidelines
What we need from you:
- Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly
- Work well as part of a team
- Comfortable standing, walking, lifting, bending and climbing ladders for long periods
- Physically fit for demanding outdoor work in all weather
- Available to work Monday to Friday, and up to 7 days a week during busy periods
- Commit to the full 9-month employment period
Hours and pay:
Average 30 hours per week. Usual hours are 7am to 3.30pm, but these may change. Pay is piecework or hourly award rate based on the Horticulture Award 2020.
