About this job
Apple orchard in Drouin and surrounding area needs up to 20 farm workers for harvest, packing and sorting apples and related crops.
Dates and hours: Early November 2026 to July or August 2027. You must be available 4-6 days per week, 8-10 hours per day. Early start times vary depending on crop needs. Some weekend work may be offered. Work is weather dependent and may be intermittent.
The work: Harvesting, cleaning, trimming and sorting apples. Pruning trees outdoors. Regular lifting, constant standing, walking and bending. Work in all weather conditions, from hot and dry to cold, wet and muddy.
What we need: Physically fit, reliable and flexible workers. Good communication skills. Able to work in teams with people from different backgrounds. Must be able to travel to or live in the Drouin area.
Pay: Australian Horticultural Award 2020 hourly rate.
