About this job
Whittaker Farms is a family-owned dairy business in Denison, Gippsland. We are looking for an experienced couple or two friends to work with us for 3 to 6 months, starting 31 August.
The work
- Milking cows in our two sheds (1100 cows in the first shed, 550 in the second)
- Calf rearing
- Maintenance and cleaning
- Weed spraying and gardening
- Pressure washing
- If you have machinery experience, you may also do silage harvest, pasture renovation, cropping and irrigation work
What we need
You should be reliable, a team player, and have some agricultural experience. Experience with milking, machinery operation, stock work, labouring or construction is helpful. You must have a driver’s licence. A car is a bonus.
