Whittaker Farms is a family-owned dairy business in Denison, Gippsland, about 2.5 hours east of Melbourne. They are hiring an experienced couple or two friends for 3 to 6 months, starting 31 August.
The work:
- Milking cows (two sheds: one with 1100 cows, one with 550 cows)
- Calf rearing
- Maintenance and cleaning
- Weed spraying and gardening
- Pressure washing
- If you have machinery experience, there may be opportunities with silage harvest, pasture renovation, cropping and irrigation
What they want:
Reliable, fun team players with agricultural experience. Milking, machinery operation, stock work, labouring or construction experience is helpful. You must have a driver’s licence. A car is a bonus.

Visa eligibility:
This work counts towards 88 days or 176 days of specified work for working holiday visas.
