Thomas Foods International runs a major cattle feedlot at Tintinara in South Australia’s Limestone Coast, and they are recruiting pen riders to join the livestock team. The feedlot is in the middle of a significant expansion to 38,000 standard cattle units, so it is a good time to get in: as the operation grows there is real room to build your skills and move up.

The work: riding pens to check cattle health and condition, spotting and pulling sick animals, and general livestock husbandry across the feedlot.

Good to know:

• Full-time role with one of Australia’s largest family-owned food businesses
• Horse riding and stock handling experience will be highly regarded
