What the listing says

• This is largely a practical position, working directly with the farm manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations at the farm. Duties and responsibilities include: 
•           Report directly to the farm manager;
•           Daily milking routines- Operate milking plant and equipment, yarding cows using ATVs, set up and shut down routines, dairy hygiene and basic maintenance;
•           Operate and basic maintenance of farm machinery;
•           Farm infrastructure maintenance and planning- plant and equipment, machinery, water and fences;
•           Ability to understand and connect the farm’s operations as a whole, within the business and within the wider dairy industry;
•           Assist the manager in identifying issues and creating solutions with regards to day-to-day farm management.
• Salary: $80,000-84,000 pa + superannuation
