Heatherbrae Pastoral is after a reliable, hardworking Farm Hand for a beef cattle operation on the NSW South Coast. Full-time. Good fit for someone who enjoys outdoor work, livestock and rural living.

What you’ll be doing:

– Daily care and handling of beef cattle
– Mustering on motorbikes or vehicles
– Feeding stock and monitoring animal health
– Fence repairs and general property maintenance
– Operating and maintaining farm machinery
– Water trough and pasture management
– Cattle yard work: drafting, weighing, tagging and loading
– Weed control and basic farm improvements
– Looking after sheds, tools and infrastructure

What they’re after:

– Previous livestock or farming experience
– Able to safely run tractors, side-by-sides, motorbikes and farm equipment
– Basic mechanical and maintenance skills are well regarded
– Strong work ethic, works well on your own and in a team
– Driver’s licence required
– Chemical accreditation and machinery tickets are a bonus, not essential
