Farmhand & Tractor Driver

Join our small organic farm team in the Northern Territory!

We are looking for a reliable, skilled, seasonal farm hand and tractor driver.

About the role:
For this role we are mainly looking for a skilled tractor driver who is able to work independently, work without supervision at times and take full responsibility for the task at hand.
However, this role also includes other jobs on the farm.

What we’re looking for:
– Interested in organic farming
– Experience in operating farm machinery (land prep, laying plastic & tape)
– not essential, but desirable: experience in maintaining farm machinery
– Willing to work all days of the week (incl. weekends)
– Keen to take on responsibility for task at hand
– Great at problem solving
– Positive attitude and able to work as part of a small team as well as individually
– Reliable and hard working with own transportation

Organic AG is an organic farm in Middle Point as well as a Fruit & Veg Box business in Humpty Doo.
You’ll work in Middle Point (50min drive from Darwin).

We are the biggest organic vegetable farm in the NT and the forerunner of organic farming in Northern Australia. We are constantly trying to evolve, learn and adapt to the harsh climate of the tropics. You’ll fully immerse in how to run and how an organic farm operates in the tropics.
This is not a ‘just get my 88-days done’ position.
