Farm Manager, Booral NSW

NEWCO FARMS is looking for an experienced Farm Manager to lead their laying farm operations near Booral.

What you will do:

• Manage all laying farm activities and coordinate with the General Manager, Livestock Manager, and Veterinary Services
• Oversee bird husbandry, health and welfare including feed, water, weight monitoring and clinical care
• Supervise and train farm staff in best practice and safe working procedures
• Coordinate egg collection, bird culling, hygiene programs and vaccinations
• Manage flock transfers and depopulations
• Handle farm administration, reports and documentation
• Maintain biosecurity and quarantine standards
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, and relevant legislation
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance of farm facilities

What you need:

• Previous experience in farm management
• Ability to lead and manage a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Computer literacy and numeracy
• Mechanical skills
• Safety-focused approach to work

This is a permanent position. Salary is $100,000 per annum.
