Beef cattle farmers, Burra SA

Princess Royal is hiring experienced beef cattle farmers for their Burra operation. Several full-time permanent positions are available.

What you will do:

• Breed and raise cattle for beef production
• Monitor and maintain the health and condition of livestock
• Manage pastures and feeding opportunities
• Conduct farming operations including drenching, moving stock and general farm maintenance
• Oversee pens, sheds and pasture management
• Help with the sale, purchase and transport of livestock
• Keep records of farming activities and monitor market activity
• Train and supervise staff and contractors

What you need:

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in cattle farming
• Cert III in a relevant field
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Customer focused with a can-do attitude

Salary is $68,000 to $80,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
