Inglewood Poultry Farm is hiring up to 10 workers for permanent full-time positions at their Inglewood, Toowoomba and Pittsworth locations. The farm operates 52 weeks per year.

The work includes:

• Making and bagging chicken feed, maintaining mill cleanliness
• Maintaining feed lines and distributing stock feed
• Removing live birds from crates and checking biosecurity controls
• Walking sheds to check stock health and report issues
• Checking and fixing drinkers, feeders and water leaks
• Checking and repairing shed fencing, weed control and cleaning
• Catching and crating chickens for transport
• Kill floor duties including shackling, manual evisceration and grading
• Boning and packing chicken portions
• Picking and preparing orders, loading product
• General cleaning and housekeeping

What you need:

• No experience required. Full training provided.
• Strong focus on safety and good work ethic
• Ability to work in a team and be punctual
• Physically fit for manual labour
• Willing to work flexible hours including weekends, nights and public holidays

Hours and pay:

Minimum 38 hours per week. Shifts 7 days a week, typically 5am to 10pm according to roster. Paid at award rate, Level 1 classification, with overtime rates as per the National Employment Standards.
