Agri Labour Australia is recruiting 100 poultry shed attendants for a major agribusiness in Millmerran and surrounds. Work starts December 2026.

You will work with live birds and handle all aspects of poultry care. The work is physical and involves dust and livestock smells. You need to be comfortable with this environment.

Your duties will include:

• Checking on birds and animal husbandry
• Picking up and collecting eggs
• Disposing of sick birds
• Cleaning machines and sheds
• Relocating and vaccinating birds
• Loading birds into cages
• Riding a bike between sheds
• Working outdoors
• Other duties as directed

You must have:

• No asthma or dust allergies
• Physical fitness for heavy lifting and labour
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to live locally or relocate to Millmerran

Pay is $25.74 per hour under the Pastoral Award Level 1, with a minimum of 38 hours per week. Contracts are offered for 1-4 years with opportunities to upskill. Pay rates will increase with Fair Work Commission annual reviews.
