Western Honey Supplies, an established beekeeping business in the Southern Perth Hills, is seeking one seasonal worker/backpacker for approximately 3 months. Located around 1 hour from Fremantle, this role offers the chance to experience WA’s beekeeping industry while exploring its forests and regional areas.

The position is approximately 50% beekeeping and field work (in remote locations) and 50% shed/factory work.

Field work may include:

• Assisting with beehives and honey production
• Travelling to apiary sites across WA
• Camping during regional field trips
• Working outdoors in beautiful natural environments

Shed/factory work may include:

• Honey and beeswax processing
• Packing products
• General warehouse and production duties

The work is rewarding but physically demanding, involving outdoor work, lifting equipment and time away from home.

What we’re looking for

• Full driver’s licence – essential
• Own vehicle to travel to our Southern Perth Hills base
• Valid Working Holiday or approved working visa
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Reliable, hardworking and team-oriented
• Flexible with working hours
• Farm, outdoor or beekeeping experience is an advantage but not essential
