Brisbane City Council’s Asphalt and Aggregates branch is looking for a Trade Qualified Maintenance Fitter. You will repair, maintain and service plant and equipment used in asphalt production.

Your work will include:

• Maintaining and repairing equipment and machinery in the workshop and production areas
• Preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns
• Overseeing stock and following maintenance plans
• Cutting, drilling, welding and grinding materials

What you need:

• Australian or Australian Recognised Cert III Mechanical/Fitter and Turner
• C class driver’s licence
• Work Safety in Construction Industry (White card)
• Ability to work occasional weekends and nights for shutdown maintenance
