Kinglake Farms is a large family-run horticulture business growing and packing premium blueberries for supermarkets. They have operations in Kinglake VIC and Rosewood NSW.

They are looking for a full-time Forklift Driver.

Your duties:

• Operate forklifts to lift, stack, load and unload bins of fruit in the packing shed and cold storage areas
• Transport harvested fruit, empty bins, pallets and packaging materials between orchards, cool rooms and packing lines
• Position forklifts safely in confined areas like loading bays and storage sheds
• Place fruit bins and pallets in correct storage areas for identification, grading and dispatch
• Monitor forklift performance and check operating conditions
• Inspect forklifts daily for wear, faults or damage, and report issues to supervisors
• Perform routine servicing, minor maintenance and adjustments to keep forklifts safe and efficient

What you need:

• Current Forklift licence
• Either: AQF Cert II or equivalent plus 1.5 years relevant experience (20+ hours per week), OR AQF Cert III or equivalent plus 1 year relevant experience (20+ hours per week), OR 2 years relevant experience (38+ hours per week) without formal qualification
• Experience operating forklifts, tractors and other farming equipment
• Sound knowledge of machinery and strong mechanical aptitude
• Previous horticulture experience is highly desirable
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Flexibility with working hours
• Good communication and teamwork skills
