Hermitage Dairy is looking for an experienced dairy farmer to join their team in Kergunyah South, Victoria.

What you will do:

• Breed and raise cattle for milk and dairy products
• Monitor and maintain the health and condition of cattle
• Provide pastures and manage feeding opportunities
• Organise farming operations including milking, drenching, and collecting produce
• Maintain farm facilities such as pens, sheds and equipment
• Help with the sale, purchase and transport of livestock and produce
• Keep records of farming activities and monitor market activity
• Train and supervise staff and contractors

What you need:

• Minimum 3 years hands-on dairy farming experience
• Preferably a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Customer focused with a can-do attitude

This is a full-time permanent position. Salary is $75,000 – $85,000 per annum depending on experience.
