ICM Agribusiness (Peechelba Beef) is hiring experienced dairy farmers for permanent positions in Wangaratta.

Your work will include:

• Breeding and raising cattle for milk and dairy products
• Monitoring and maintaining cattle health and condition
• Managing pastures for proper nutrition
• Moving livestock to optimise feeding
• Milking, drenching, catching and handling livestock
• Sterilising machines and collecting, grading and packaging produce
• Maintaining pens, sheds and cages
• Fertilising, controlling pests and weeds, growing fodder
• Helping with buying, selling and transporting livestock and produce
• Keeping records and monitoring market activity
• Training and supervising staff and contractors

You will need:

• Minimum 3 years hands-on dairy farming experience
• Cert III in a relevant field
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A can-do attitude
