Berwick Speedy Seedlings & Supplies is looking for 4 casual nursery hands to work at their commercial vegetable seedling nursery in Tynong.

The role

You will work a minimum of 30 hours per week across a 7-day roster. Work starts in April or May and continues for 9 months.

Your duties will include:

• Maintaining nursery plants – watering, drenching, treating and moving seedlings
• Loading and unloading seedling trays
• Tray laying, tray washing and steaming
• Keeping the yard tidy and organised
• Washing trucks, tractors and equipment
• General labouring as needed

What we need

You must be physically fit, able to work in various weather conditions, have good communication skills and a strong work ethic. On-the-job training will be provided.

Pay and conditions

You will be paid $33.05 per hour under the Nursery Award 2020.
