A horticulture business in Marble Hill is hiring 50 workers for a 9-month seasonal position. You will pick and pack fruit, stack crates in the coolroom, and help with general farm maintenance like weeding and planting.

The work includes:

• Picking fruit using bikes, carts or ladders
• Packing fruit to quality standards
• Stacking crates and cartons onto pallets
• Labelling and organising packaging
• Weeding, planting and general crop maintenance
• Safe use of tractors, forklifts and other equipment where needed
• Keeping workstations and equipment clean

You must be physically able to stand for long periods, lift cartons, and do repetitive tasks. You will work day and afternoon shifts, including early mornings and mid-afternoons. The business is willing to work in hot and cold environments.

Pay is set by the Horticulture Award 2020, ranging from $32.18 to $36.81 per hour depending on your level. You may progress through the levels based on your performance and availability.

You must have full working rights in Australia and pass a pre-employment medical check including a drug and alcohol test. You will need two references. Immediate start is possible.
