Misty Valley Pastoral is hiring for several dairy farm roles in regional Victoria. They are looking for Dairy Farmers, Animal Husbandry Technicians, Senior Dairy Cattle Farm Operators, and Dairy Cattle Farm Operators.

What you will do:

• Manage dairy cattle, heifers, dry cows and calves
• Operate milking plant and equipment
• Manage milk harvesting, milk quality and staff rosters
• Coordinate reproductive programs and artificial insemination
• Plan and manage pastures and crops for livestock
• Supervise animal health programs and ensure animal welfare
• Maintain farm equipment and infrastructure
• Keep records and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

What you need:

• For Dairy Farmer: Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years relevant experience
• For Animal Husbandry Technician: Diploma or 3 years relevant experience
• For Senior Dairy Cattle Farm Operator: AQF Certificate III or equivalent, plus 1 year full-time recent experience
• For Dairy Cattle Farm Operator: AQF Certificate II or III or equivalent, or 1 year full-time recent experience
• Passion for dairy farming and understanding of farming techniques
• Ability to work as part of a team

Pay is $71,481 to $95,000 plus superannuation, depending on your skills and experience. These are permanent full-time positions.
